Dr. Natalia Diaz Torres is a board-certified ophthalmologist who focuses on providing comprehensive eye care, helping patients from all backgrounds to see clearly. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she obtained her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico Medical School, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. After graduating medical school, she proceeded to complete her residency at the Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center ophthalmology residency program in Washington, D.C. Her main areas of clinical emphasis include traditional and refractive cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, medical glaucoma, and management of ocular surface disease. She also performs routine eye exams for the diagnosis and management of common ophthalmologic conditions including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and uveitis. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Diaz Torres is excited to bring her experience and knowledge to the area, with hopes to continue providing advanced ophthalmologic care to patients in need. She is fully fluent in English and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to new places with her family, spending time outdoors, and trying out new restaurants
